Thoughts Roaming; Searching for an Answer

[Castiella Kurayami]

Castiella lay on the roof of a building, staring at the darkening sky as her mind wandered. Her hair hung over the side of the roof and blew in the wind, changing colour every so often, depending where her thoughts went to.

She was currently confused as to how she felt like she knew Kaoru but couldn't remember if they'd encountered each other before. The naturally sapphire haired girl could normally navigate her thoughts quickly and easily, but that was not the case right now.

It seemed to her that there was this large piece of memory missing and it definitely bugged the crap out of her being that she couldn't understand why.

[Kaoru]

"Yo.." Kaoru said as he made a soft drink appear in from of Castiella by just fliping his left hand. He then offered it to her as a "welcome gift" as since both Castiella and Kaoru are both fallen angels, he had no hostility towards one of his own kin. After that, he sat down, tying to find a comfortable position before letting his hood down, revealing his striking features. A perfectly carved being, some would say but to Kaoru, it’s just him. His jet-black hair glow a soft blue-hue as the sun went back to its slumber and the moon came about in its full glory.

Alas, Kaoru wondered why Castiella felt nostalgic at that moment. It was as if that moment was spent with the same girl. “What was I trying to forget? An incident about this girl? Or is it something more complicating?” Kaoru debated this issue in his heart, pondering whether he wanted or needed to forget it. He only remembered he was a very popular individual when he was within the angelic realm, but there were way too many people. “I guess I’m searching for answers as well?” Kaoru said it out loud in a soft tone.

[Castiella Kurayami]

Castiella accepted the kind gesture of a drink and took a sip. Her nostalgia was still present even as she spoke, "I wouldn't know, but I can say for certain that I'm searching for answers."

She had another thought; Kaoru, is much older than myself...if the case is that I knew him at some point...then..maybe I'm older than I think I am. The confusion was growing and the girl hated it. Sh ahted not knowing and she was pissed that an enormous part of her memories was nowhere to be found. A very unlady like growl of utter frustration left her lips.

[Kaoru]

Kaoru kept quiet as he enjoyed the view; partly the stars were shining brightly tonight. Weird as not that many stars would suddenly appear in one night. Slowly he started to count the stars in his mind while listening to Castiella's reply. It seems that she is searching for an answer. No, more like a purpose to keep living.

"Hypnosis, will that work?" Kaoru taught but then he discarded that taught as it was too naive of him to try to take the short cut without any experiences. Kaoru being much calmer than Castiella taught. Kaoru then held her head softly and pushed it towards his shoulder; he was tilting his as well once he had done that. His cheek touched Castiella's hair and said with closed eyes. "Hey.." Kaoru paused slightly before continuing. "Don't think too much now.." Kaoru said softly with warmth in his voice. "We'll find a purpose together.. So don’t feel bad.. It’s part of living.." Kaoru added.

(OOC: Tired.. and finally my exams are done.. but now i'm exhausted.. Sorry if it's short..)

[Castiella Kurayami]

Castiella was absolutely shocked by the current contact and pulled away but explained, "I'm not one for physical contact." She thought for a moment, "I'm not so much searching for a purpose as I am trying to find an answer. It's frustrating. I have the large chunk of memory that's just gone." Looking to the sky, Cas immediately found comfort there. Her hair had stopped flickering from colour to colour and settled on a deep purple with streaks of her natural sapphire showing through.

[Kaoru]

"Haha True.." Kaoru said before staring blankly into the horizon, it seems that some memories are flying around him, some are familiar but yet why do these memories feel so distant from him. “By the way, what’s your last name.. The name’s Tenshi, Kaoru Tenshi.. Or if you prefer to call me by my original name..” Kaoru paused for a moment to inhale in some oxygen. “Alexiel..”

[Castiella Kurayami]

Castiella watched the thin, whispy clouds move slowly through the sky in the soft breeze, "Kurayami, it means darkness." She kept her eyes on the clouds and then noticed a raven flying around. For a while she'd wanted to do a little flying but she'd been rather preoccupied.

[Kaoru]

"Real or fake? And is it chosen or given?" Kaoru asked as he chose his name after discarding his original one. Alas that was a long time ago, but still the fragments of memories are shattered all around the world, sadly until the tournament is over, none is allowed off the island. “By the way, why did you join the tournament?” Kaoru asked out of curiosity before telling his own objective of joining the tournament.

[Castiella Kurayami]

Castiella thought for a moment, "It's my real name. Despite the chunck of memory that's missing, I know that Castiella Kurayami is my real name. I was glad to be able to use it after Falling. I hated that damned rule of not being able to use your real name. I was never Arianna Garnet." A bitter growl came from the girl's lips and she stood. Though it was odd, she was jealous of the raven and so she made a decision. The girl took a swan dive off the building, leaving Kaoru there, and as she hurdled towards the ground her black wings opened and she flew straight up as far as she could possibly go, feeling the rush and loving every second of it.

[Renzenku]

((I am dreadfully sorry for interrupting, but I must put this here for laughs on my part: Don't worry though, it doesn't actually interfear with what you're doing at all))

Ren crouched low on a taller building in the epicenter of the sound of the small city, and from there he could hear most of what could possibly be heard from any and all directions in the city: Unfortunatly it got quite loud and if he moved even an inch he would lose the precise positioning. Smiling as Castiella's voice drifted through the epicenter amongst the other voices and noises; the Angel focused on her voice and caught a snippet of what appeared to be a conversation: "...Kurayami is my real name. I was glad to be able to use it after Falling. I hated that damned rule of not being able to use your real name. I was never Arianna Garnet."

The Blue Eyed Male moved slightly and lost the trail of voices, but smiled still at Cas's implication of hating the inability to use her real name. Hmm... I didn't really mind being called God... Not really... Ren shrugged still, as he never had to undergo a seperatum title, and he walked to the edge of the roof while thinking this, and when he reached the edge he seemed to dissapear in a flicker of light to his destination of the Cafe.

[Kaoru]

Kaoru closed his eyes at the moment when Castiella told him her true name. It was a nice name, Arianna Garnet. Kaoru pondered on the factor of whether they have meet before their memories got erased of taken away. Still there were many unanswered question. Kaoru did sense that someone was eavesdropping on them but he could not really pinpoint still it was someone who wants to know information. Solomon? Nope, Kaoru discarded that possibility as Solomon won’t waste his time on these things, then there was Ezrion but he's not that conspicuous. There was only one person left then… Ren.. Kaoru smiled, stood up and disappeared into in a flutter of black feathers.
